The city of Wiesbaden is planning to nominate a large part of its inner city for the World Heritage List. Four potential World Heritage areas have been identified in total. At the same time, the municipality plans to erect several windmill plants in the surrounding area of the inner city with the aim of significantly reducing greenhouse gases up to 2050. To avoid conflict, the city of Wiesbaden commissioned an independent review of these plans. A visualization of the planned windmills was scheduled in order to evaluate their potential impact on the Wiesbaden cityscape.
