Cultural Landscape Compatibility Study for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley

On behalf of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage Association the cultural landscape compatibility study (KLVS) was developed as a new evaluation tool in order to examine future changes, e.g., through current planning processes, of the World Heritage ‘Upper Middle Rhine Valley’ as quickly and efficiently as possible. The identification of (key)attributes as well as the development of 3D computer models as well as a monitoring advisory board serve to evaluate positive and negative impacts of planned activities.
